"Add Volumes to a Child's Future"

About Turn The Page, Inc.

What is TTPI?
Turn the Page is an incorporated 501 (c) (3) charitable and literary organization that promotes reading as a foundation for the advancement of children and young adults.

Turn the Page provides books to increase the resources of inadequately funded Illinois public and school libraries.

Who founded TTPI?
Krista Wodarz founded Turn the Page in October 2003. Krista is passionate about providing young readers with access to books that can advance their future.

Why was TTPI founded?
Turn the Page was founded on the premise that a simple gesture such as recycling your slightly used books or funding new books for under resourced libraries will have a lasting impact on children's futures. By creating a print-rich environment, children are introduced to the joy of books, a love of learning and an appreciation for the power of knowledge.

Since 2002, over 70 libraries throughout Illinois have been supported primarily through new and used book donations. Many of these libraries have received multiple contributions and continued support from Turn the Page.

Turn the Page has touched the lives of thousands of children.

Who works for TTPI?
Our board is made up entirely of volunteers who believe that access to reading materials provides a foundation for the education and advancement of children and young adults.

How much of my donation goes toward support of administrative costs for TTPI?
A generous benefactor has contributed the annual administrative costs to Turn the Page so that all incremental donations for 2007 go directly to book donations.
